To complete the task entrusted by Toro, Sofye stepped into the River of Memories to save fragments of lost memories from Memory Bird’s amnesia. In the recollection of 1910, Sofye ran between memories of Ng Ar-Gu and Chan Ar-Mui, and saw faces of strong, courageous women living in the past. That led her to understand that people supported each other like family whilst fighting life’s misfortunes, in order to be themselves in an era of turmoil.
The heroine Ng Ar-Gu in the story is adapted from a real character and was once a big landlord in Central 100 years ago.
